Hm, lets think about this. IT HASN'T. The Americans tend to take style from many places, whereas the British create individual style. I will concede that some big name designers in America have influenced Europe: They've influenced everywhere if they've become big name! But mmhm. I would say that Western culture has mainly influenced Japan and China, plus surrounding areas.
