Why would it be a bad idea for kids to vote? I can understand politics! We should be able to have our voice's heard by voting. The government doesn't care about us. OK so maybe a little, but they don't care a whole lot. We are always pushed aside.
no because kids dont know anything about who is supposed to run the country. one bad vote can put america in danger

When you vote can you write a name that isn't on there?
You could, but that would be regarded as a spoilt vote and so would not be used in the count. In reality you can only vote for the candidates on the ballot paper.

Yes. They have a book of names and when you vote they look it up and you sign in. If you could vote at any polling station the book would be so big that no one could use it. You can always vote with an absentee ballot.
