To simplify it:
The US and Russia coexist in a tenuous but peaceful relationship. The two nations maintain usually cordial relationships, though that's as far as it goes for now.

∙ 13y agoNot as such although they are joint members of a number of organisations. They were allies in World War II but direct opponents during the Cold War between 1945 and 1991.
