Best Answer

The executive branch of the government is responsible for enforcing the laws.

The U.S. Constitution does not make this very clear; in Article II, Section 1 about the Executive Branch, it says only that "The executive Power shall be bested in a President of the United States of America."

So, you have to look up executive power in a dictionary or encyclopedia, and it will say that the executive branch of government is charged with the enforcement of laws and policies.
