Being a Brit, I know that it's just a stereotype, Britain is nothing like what Americans think, personally, I think the stereotype is taken from the victorian era, where it was impolite to say leg (learn't that off horrible histories). Here are some stereotypes I've heard of:
Brits are not obsessed with tea, and we have great dentists, were not all polite, and we use lots of slang, so yeah, just a stereotype.
sorry they did not that's myth propogated by the Americans
Yankee Doodle isn't a person. Yankee is what the American colonies were called. Doodle was another word for fool. If you think an American wrote Yankee Doodle, you're wrong. A British person who disliked Americans wrote it. The British sang it to insult the Americans, but the Americans thought it was so funny they made it they're song
the British died so the Americans party ed got drunk and got high they got some strippers too
Australia
They surrendered so fast because the Americans and French had so many troops the British surrendered because they had no chance. 😃
It's not, it's racist which is also probably why they do it
The Native Americans were so important in the clash between the French and British because the Native Americans helped the French in the war between the French and British.

Well as you can see on TV alot of Americans make fun of British people saying we have a accent like " pip pip cherry'o " but we don't! We talk perfectly fine so i don't see why we need to be made fun of, its not right. They think its funny but its not!! Alot of kids watching American shows wont find it very amusing and will probably not like Americans. Q .So the question is Why do Americans make fun of British people? A. Because they think its funny, BUT ITS NOT!!

The Americans were angry at the British troops, so the American people attacked the British troops then the British started to fire their weapons at the Americans
It seems a lot of Americans think so. You hear about 'British accents' which usually means an English one. The term 'British' can mean English, Welsh, Scottish or Northern Irish as they are all UK citizens.
The British were in war with the French so the British would not let the Americans trade with the French and in doingt so the War of 1812 was initiated. so they dont die
Americans used guerrilla warfare tactics to drive the British to the coast. The french, although late, prevented the British from retreating to sea, so the British had no choice but to surrender.

I think they did, but they could not be killed until the war against the British was over, since they were saying they were Americans, not British, and therefor was not "doing treason". If the British won the war, they would have been killed. But they didn't. So the people lived. I think. (The people did live.)
