The US were angry with the British because the British were helping the Native Americans fight against the US. Also, the British were capturing US sailors and interfering with US trade.

Because they were under British rule and wanted to be independent the only thing stopping them from rebelling before was he French, George Washington shot a french patrol starting a war the colonists called for help and the British arrived after finally defeating the French the wounded British soilders returned the colonists were basically traitors they rebelled once France was defeated and are soilders wounded and to be fair we were a hyperpower and America were peasants I worked out that if the we the british really wanted America are power could of overrun America so I don't understand why we didn't probably the code of civalry or somthing it's a medieval law but still honoured it's were no knight can fight a peasant. Or maybe dicided India is better (I think India is better)

Britain left troops in north America to protect the colonists from Native Americans.however,many of the colonist disliked the presence of the troops.These colonists felt that Britain kept the troops there to keep them in line.
