It is possible that the word Zathura comes from the name of the prophet of Zoroastrianism. Predating Judaism, Christianity, and Islam was another monotheistic religion in the Middle East practiced by the Persians. These people believed in the one god Ahura Mazda (The Wise Lord) and his prophet was the Zoroaster who's actual name was Zarathustra Spitama. As you can see, if you take the first, middle, and last letters of Zarathustra you have Zathura.
