Hamsters should be allowed to exercise in their ball for about 30 minutes to an hour each day to stay healthy and active.
I think gerbils will more often because they are more curious than hamsters.
No, they don't usually enjoy them. Exercise balls can be dangerous, they are usually bad for their backs, so i wouldn't recommend using them. Instead I have a puppy pen that I put down in my living room on top of a blanket for exercise time! They have plenty of room to run around but can't get out and into trouble.
It probably isn't a good idea to feed a hamster yoghurt because like many other animals it is most likely lactose-intolerant. Which means if it has yoghurt(yoghurt being a dairy product) there will most likely be some medical repercussions.
least three days in a week.
every 4 to 6 weeks
YES . my syrian loves them. except i' m not sure dwarfs or robos should have strawberries.
No, hamsters are actually pretty territorial. They often fight with mates.
A Teddy Bear Hamster's real name is a Syrian Hamster. Syrian Hamsters are often allergic to cedar and pine. That's why these should be used as bedding, chew toys, etc.
Although, winter white Russian hamsters are often referred to as a dwarf hamsters, so, it's logic to say that the of these kind of hamsters are originlly from Russia.
well that's really up to you. Hamsters do have a habbit of chewing them though so once it gets chewed to peices and can no longer be used.
you should exercise more often. That would make it so rhat you eat whatever you like.
Hamsters need a small handful of dried food and some fresh food such as a carrot or lettuce leaf once a day. If there is any left over from the previous day it should be removed.
