Few things. Check first of all the spark plugs make sure they don't need to be changed. Then it if they are in good condition that is not burnt or covered in oil/grease (if so that might be the problem change them) check the spark plug wires and make sure the spark gets to the end. But if the spark does show but it still doesn't ignite its most likely the timing. If no spark go to the rotor and make sure that's its in a good condition. Most likely its the sparkplugs or the wires less likely the distributor. Check them in any order you preffer. But my guess it would be the spark plugs
check the ignition coil make sure theres power going to it ,and coming out of it. check the ground conection.
check the crank and or cam sensor, the problem was the crankshaft sensor
Check your fuses
Check all of your fuses both in the fuse box in the van and under the hood.
Without fuel and the lack of spark, you can crank the engine continuously for the next 5 years and it will never start. One needs to find out why there is no spark or fuel. Start with the fuel pump and check the fuse(s), and then check the operation of the fuel pump. Check the electrical system of the car - check fuses, check wiring.
check the ignition coil make sure theres power going to it ,and coming out of it. check the ground conection.
Check if you're getting fuel. If you're not getting fuel, it's the main relay. If you're not getting spark, it could be the distributer. Also, check your fuses.
yes no spark and fuses are all good
What car & engine???? Check injector connectors with noid lights, ensure all fuses are good, is there good compression?
check your distributor cap and rotor, check the coil, check the wires, check fuses for ignition.
I would suspect that if it is getting fuel and not starting it would be that it is not getting any spark. If you find that it is not getting spark you could check: Ignition module Crank position sensor Engine control module Associated wiring and connectors
check to make sure fuel pump is working. then check to see if fuel is getting to the fuel rail, then check for spark, if you have spark, compression and fuel it should run.
It's definitely not going to go like that. Check fuel filter and pump, then check spark at distributor or box and check all the fuses and fusible links.
Simple your not getting spark from the spark plugs. i recomend getting someone that knows how to check for spark because there is a lot of items you have to check.
i would check all fuses and the ignition switch
If getting fuel and spark, then need compression and air.
first check each spark plug to see if your getting spark if there is no spark check the plug wires for any breaks in the wires also the distributor cap and rotor for wear or corrosion. also check the coil. if engine does have spark check to see if the engine is getting fuel if the engine is not getting fuel check the fuel pump. also check cylinders for compression.
