It could also be the throttle position sensor, throttle body injector, fuel filter and any of a number other problems. Check for a computer code. If you don't see one, it might just be fuel related, since computers don't usually check for that.

The security light has a faulty fuse and needs replaced. The vehicle not starting unless boosted means the battery has a dead cell in it .
put your key in the ignition and turn it and hold it till it stops cranking. k.

I have a 2002 tb and my understanding if the ignition is punched the vehicle will not start, unless the person has the key no it can not unless it is towed.
it might have something to do with the transmition my mother-in-law drives with her over drive on 24/7 thinking it saves on gas but over drive shouldn't be used unless your going over 55 mph. my answer to you is to try having your transmition serviced
