yes you can but it is highly regulated by the government national firearms act you have to be over 21 with no criminal record. Weapons regulated by this act are short barreled rifles like the M4A1 or a weapon without buttstock like the mp5k or adjustable buttstock witch would change the length of the rifle but to the point.
You cant own an m16 because it is technically a machine gun because u can fire more than 1 shot with 1 trigger pull so u cant own unless you have certification to own weapons that violates the act weapons the violate the act are short barreled rifles ,short barreled shotguns, suppressors, (or any other portable device that muffles the sound or stops the report of a firearm discharge) and destructive devices divided in 2 types 1 type are grenades, bombs, and 2nd type are missiles and poison gas and any other weapons A.O.W.S. like smooth bore pistols, cane and pen guns and trust me there are such things weapons concealed in plain sight.
Alot of the tattoo designs have a meaning, but then again, alot dont. Some people just get a tattoo simply because when they see it they automatically fall in love with it. This is a reason why most people regret their tattoos in the future. But a M16 could have thousands of different meanings for the thousands of different people that may have it. -Shocker---- It probably means that the wearer likes the German Thrash Metal band "Sodom". As opposed to an M-13 tattoo which probably means the wearer belongs to the gang Mara Salvatrucha (who often have deeply cool and very visible tattoos).
