You certainly can. It won't look very good, and will peel right of as the moss dies, but you are not forbidden from painting moss.

As far as I know there is not paint that "stops moss growth" The problem needs to be fixed by killing the sources of the growth of mildew and moss. Perhaps it is a moisture problem. You need to kill the moss first then paint it with a special coating. I called Sherwin Williams and they helped me out tremendously. Just make sure you tell them if you have a pitched roof or a not. It makes a difference.

There are thousands of different varieties of moss and lichen, but the one that does the most damage to roofing is Ascomycetes Foliose. As part of its life cycle it burrows into the roofing material. On metal roofing this can cause the paint to blister promoting corrosion. The root system can also cause concrete and clay tiles to crack. With moss on the roof the surface is never allowed to dry out. Therefore the roof surface deteriorates faster.

No, concrete paint will eventually chip and peel away from the wood and eventually rot. Concrete paint does not have the same bonding and protection agents as multi-purpose paints. My advice, go to a home improvement store and buy multi-purpose primer and the shade of multi-purpose paint you want. Just be sure it says "for wood".
