Locate the low pressure cut out switch, unplug the wire connector, using a paper clip jump across the two connections in the electrical plug. This will by pass the low pressure switch and allow the AC compressor to run. THIS IS A TEMPORARY PROCEDURE! Once you have filled the system with freon remove the jumper wire and plug the connection back in to the low pressure switch.
get under the car, its about 6 inches from the compressor with a blue cap (large line)
Larger hose from the compressor maybe near the drier at the passenger side firewall
An AC compressor compresses the freon and circulates the freon through the system. An air ride compressor pumps compressed air into air bags to level the vehicle and/or alter the handling of the vehicle.
Low refrigerant charge
I had trouble with my AC Compressor there is a pulley called an AC bypass pulley for the make of your car... just ask your Automotive Parts dealers they should help you.. I had to phone a few before I found one that knew what I was talking about. Also on eBay you can look it up.
with a new compressor is a good place to look and see if it's working then see if the fan to blow it is still working you fix it with a new ac compressor pulley and recharge the freon in the car
On the top of the ac compressor.
go ahead and start charging the ac. make sure you have the car running and the air conditioning on as cold as the car can get. once a certain amount of refrigerent has collected in the lines the compresser should start working
Look under car...look for blue c as p near compressor...
If the a/c belt is not part of the Serpentine system it is not needed but if it is then your serpentine belt is the a/c belt the a/c probably just needs a freon recharge and will get it working again
Recharging the air conditioning is simple with a recharge kit. Connects the Freon bottle to the recharge port on the air conditioner compressor. Release the Freon into the compressor.
IT indicates your freon low. recharge
Was unit evacuated before recharge after compressor replacement?
?
Its located on the top of the a/c compressor..................
Connect the Freon recharge hoses to the ports on the air conditioner compressor. With the hoses connected release the Freon into the compressor.
turn the car on
