Herbal remedies promoted for the treatment of Arthritis include, ginger, Chinese Thunder God Vine, willow bark extract, feverfew, cat's claw and stinging nettle. While there is some evidence that ginger and willow bark extract may relieve pain, these remedies contain chemicals that are similar to conventional nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory compounds (NSAIDs) like naproxen (Aleve) and ibuprofen (Advil). NSAIDs may cause inflammation of the stomach and intestines. Further, they can interfere with blood clotting and lead to fluid retention, causing problems for people with high blood pressure or heart failure. Chinese Thunder God Vine also relieves pain and inflammation, but chronic use may cause weakening of the immune system and bones (osteoporosis). To the best of my knowledge Santa does not have the necessary training to prescribe drugs.
Most people diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis already have joint pains. Arthritis effects everyone in a different way so it isn't easy to say how much it'll progress or where it effects. Talking to your doctor would give you the most information as he or she can run tests.

Pathogens that can cause arthritis include bacteria like Streptococcus, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, and Borrelia burgdorferi (Lyme disease), as well as viruses like hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and chikungunya virus. These pathogens can trigger inflammation in the joints leading to arthritis symptoms.
Poly arthritis is likely to be Rheumatoid arthritis. Poly as in more then one place Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disease that tends to hit in several joints at the same time, often in the same joints on opposing sides of the body. As with any form of arthritis it is beneficial to maintain strength around effected joints to give them as much indirect support as possible. there by getting more out of worn cartilage and reducing the pain that comes with damaged joints.
Arthritis has been with man kind for as long as mankind has been, so there are literally thousands of them including Bayer who invented aspirin so he could give his mother relief against the pain of the disease.

I have feet that I am told by my doctor are badly damaged by Rheumatoid arthritis. I find that when I wear the nifty sporty Nikes etc I always end up with sore feet. So now I have settled on normal leather shoes and I have never looked back since. They don't cost a fortune, they don't give you wet feet when it rains, and they last more then 5 times as long as sneakers without starting to stink to high heaven.
