yes the VI has a law in their books pertaining to tinted windows. The law was placed in effect in 2005. The general standard is 35 percent but the rule of thumb is if a person can see through both front windows to the other side its considered ok. In addition, if the front widshield is tinted below 5 inches or beyond the AS 1 line it is too far down on the front windshield. Tickets for this offense are 200 bucks for first offense and it goes up from there. Hope this helps. Dustin
no because it would be exposed to the elements, auto window film is intended to be placed on the inside of your vehicles windows.
Not really ---- a tint is white with a small amount of a hue (that is, a colour) mixed into it.
you can remove it with ammonia and let it set in the sun for about 1 hr or start on one edge of the film and start using a heat gun slowly start pulling it gently but heat it all in the inside and always check and see it the glass is not hot or else you can cause damage to your window
Almost all paint stores will tint their paint free of charge.
Neither. Gray is the perfect combonation of both black and white, which means it is neither a tint or a shade. Though, you can tint it and make colors like Ash Gray and Charcoal!
Yes, Connecticut has a window tint law. The front side windows must allow more than 35% of light in, while the rear side windows and rear window can have any darkness. The windshield may have non-reflective tint on the top 6 inches.
3m invented window tint in 1966. Madico invented window tint, 3m patented a process for making it in 1966
3M window tint has a sticky side that attaches to the window. Clean the window with soapy water and leave wet, arrange the tint on the window and then smooth down to remove wrinkles.
5% window tint is legal only on the back windshield. The darkest tint you can have on the passenger compartment windows is 25% which is metered at the time of inspection and if you are stopped by law enforcement. If you are stopped with illegal window tint, Texas DPS troopers will have you remove it yourself, or cut it with a razor and remove it for you.
I would as I would not want to receive a ticket. Also there is a safety hazard with too dark tint especially at night. I never tint darker than what the law allows.
some times, if your not careful.. you can get F**ked for window tints. Literally.
Window tint is a protective layer of film put on car windows to block harmful glare and UV rays
You will get noticed by the law. There is two reasons for this for one, They always think you are hiding somthing and want to know what it is. The other reason is it is Illegal in some states for your tint to be too dark.
You can buy basic window tint supplies at some hardware stores but for selection you should go to a window film specialty company or store
No, not in the USVI since 1957.
28%
scratches on glass appear to be sort of white, so when you tint your windows dark the white shows up even more, so no window tint will not hide scratches.
