A blown head gasket on a 94 Ford Crown Vic is fixed by removing the cylinder head, cleaning the gasket surface, and installing a new gasket. The head gasket is extremely important as it prevents oil and water from mixing and contains the vehicle's combustion.

Can you fix a blown engine?

It depends on what you mean by 'blown'. If it is the cylinder head gasket or the core plugs that have blown then you probably can. If you have a connecting rod through the crank case then no you can't.

White smoke and antifreeze coming out of muffler but it is not overheating is this a blown head gasket If so can I use sealant as temporary fix?

Answersure does sound like a blown head gasketa better temporary fix than sealant is to put a packet of ordinary straight from the kitchen , ground black pepper in the radiator. this will stop the leak temporarily and will not gum up the water jackets in the engine, when you get the gasket fixed the coolant will be dumped, the pepper will run tight out at the same time. and yes go ahead and laugh but i garantee that it worksAnd no, silicone sealant will not help a blown head gasket. We're talking about containing explosions here. Silicone just won't stand up to that.

Any quick fix head gasket?

No, there is no 'quick fix' for a head gasket, and trying something like stopleak WILL make the problem worse. Also the longer you let it go without repairing it, the more extensive and therefor expensive the dammage will be.

Water in engine oil?

Water in the oil pan ( looks milky or creamy on the dipstick ) is indicative of a blown head gasket. If your head gasket is blown you may have warped the head, especially if the vehicle was overheated. The fix is to remove the head(s) and take it ( or them ) to a automotive machine shop to be inspected and possibly milled. While the shop is at it they should inspect the valves and replace any that are bad. When you get the head back you will need to reinstall it with new gaskets. This is a good time to replace your timing belt or chain ( and tensioners ) since you will have the thing apart anyway. If you continue to run the engine in this condition you will do serious harm to the engine.
