A puller/installer tool can be purchased from NAPA that removes and installes the pullies on all pwer steering pumps. It is made by KD tools and comes in a handy little red box with instructions.
Open hood. Remove plastic housing securing air filter. Install new filter. Replace what you have removed. Your finished!
You will need a puller to remove the steering wheel, after you remove the nut and snap ring in the center of steering wheel. Ther are two holes in the wheel that are threaded. Install puller on center shaft, and screew 2 long bolts through the puller and into the holes on wheel.
First you must remove the upper portin of the fan shroud. Remove the belt, take a pully puller and pull the pully off the pump while it is still in place.undo the lines out of the steering sector(remember the high pressure line goes back in the hole closest to the engine block) Remove the three bolts behind the pulley, then remove the two nuts on the bracket behind the pump one is under the manifold and the other is on the bottom of the block. THen take the pump out remove lines and hardware and place on the new pump. WHen installing the new pump, put the pump back in place and the press the pully back on after you have put all the bolts back in the pump.
first thing is you need to pull off the belts, and yes all of then because the stering belt in behind the others. then there is two bolts holding the pump so remove them and then just remove the high and low pressure lines and your done.
Move the steering shaft. There is one bolt under the plastic cover. This is the pinch bolt .Remove it and slide shaft towards firewall ,move shaft out of the way ,replace plug,re-install shaft,bolt and plastic cover.

Begin by removing the power steering pump belt from your 1991 Cadillac power steering pump pulley. Remove the power steering pump pulley retaining bolt. The retaining bolt will be in the center of the pulley.

Remove the belt for am your power steering pump. Remove the power steering pump hose. Remove the power steering pump retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install your new power steering pump.
Remove the 1998 Oldsmobile power steering pump hose. Remove the power steering pump retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new power steering pump.
Remove the belt by loosening the tensioner pulley. Remove the power steering hoses. Remove the retaining nuts. Reverse the process to install the new power steering pump.
