- Negate it with a Mega Mushroom, Star or Bullet Bill
- Fall off the track just before it hits (not recommended)
- Use a Mushroom boost just before it hits (might only work on 150cc; look on YouTube for videos of this)

∙ 14y agoRight when the blue shell hovers over you, boost away from the blue shell as fast as you can if you are an expert. If you are a beginner, your best bet is to use a mushroom.
