the same way you'd install any toggle switch.
run your lines from the battery and the ignition to the power and remote switches on the amp. if you follow the directions on the box and the amp doesn't shut off because you've inadvertantly hooked the remote switch to the clock power or some constant source, then take whatever switch you have and simply add it inline between the battery and the amp. blaow. have a gin and tonic and sit in the car and wwitch your amp off and on. it'll be awesome.
Please provide more info on what you mean by 'ignition'. Reason is that there are more specific items such as ignition coil (pack), ignition switch, etc...
You will need to remove the inside door panel of your 2002 VW Jetta. Remove the wiring harness from the mirror. Remove the side view mirror retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new side view mirror.
I have a VW Jetta 1.8t with the tiptronic transmission and it cost about $3500 to have rebuilt. I was bummed, but these transmissions are notorious for failing.
Yes
In the exhaust manifold.
With the light switch in the off position, slightly turn as if you are turning the lights on, while pushing in lightly, this will turn the "toggle" type tabs that hold the unit in place and then just pull out the unit, disconnect the wiring harness and install in reverse.
I did not install an AEM cold air intake into a 2005 Jetta GLi.
where is the backuo light switch in a 2001 jetta ?
CALL VW! I just had a problem with my 2001 Jetta Wolfsburg (1.8T). The brake light switch is on RECALL. You might be able to get it fixed for NOTHING. My brake lights weren't working, and I called the dealership, and I had the problem fixed (no cost to me) within a week. FYI- there is also a recall on the hazard light switch. If it's the same switch as used in the MKIV Jetta, this VWVortx thread is the definitive do-it-yourself instruction on how to do it... http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=1158315
where is the reverse light switch located on a 2002 jetta with a stick shift
You would have to install a switch to turn it off. It is illegal to do so without written permission from the NHTSA. Go to www.nhtsa.gov
yes
the switch for hazard lght is located in the dash . the switch is the "flasher relay " so it controls the turnsignals and hazards. just pry the switch out and un plug it . install new switch . but you might want to check with your local VW dealership there is a recall on those switches . =)

The 2002 VW Jetta air conditioning relay switch can be found in the fuse box. The air conditioning relay switch will be in the third column, second from the top.
What about it - ask a more detailed question.
