To get music on the pokegear on gold you have to go to the radio tower in Goldenrod City and answer the four Pokemon Questions then the lady will give you the radio on your pokegear and you can tune into diffrent music to listen too

first you have to solve the problem at the power plant talk to the director to get zap cannon (not revelent). Then go across to lavander town go to radio tower and talk to the director he will install a radio card into your pokegear. Then head over to snorlax and go play your pokegear's pokeflute channel. Talk to the snorlax and voila! to catch or to defeat is up to your choice. (if on catching please have a scyther that can be caught at the bug contest learn false swipe to get it to one hp so you have an easier catch) happy hunting ^^ it is at the top of your pokegear's radio
