First, you need some special printer paper. There are many types, but just look in the shops for "iron-on transfer paper" or anything with a similar name. Try computer shops, office supply shops, etc. Make sure you read the instructions that come with the paper, and also make sure that it's compatible with your printer! Insert the paper into your printer THE RIGHT WAY UP! OK, so get a picture from the internet (using Windows: right-click a picture and select "save picture as...", give it a file name and save it in your picture folder), and simply print it as normal. Remember, the picture will be reversed, so try not to use writing. Cut around the picture with scissors (KIDS! Get help from a parent!), but not too close to the edges - leave a small border of white. Following the paper instructions, use an iron to iron the picture on (KIDS! Irons are hot! Get help from a parent!). Make sure you do it thoroughly, or the picture won't fully come off. Leave it to cool, and don't move or stretch the shirt until it is. Enjoy your new shirt! Oh, and make sure you check the picture's copyright, but most of the time you're probably not allowed to sell the shirt. It's not your image to sell, see?
You buy the shirt and the special paper to print on separately. Then, you iron on the printed picture, following the directions.

Nowadays, quite a lot of online companies specialize in t-shirt customization. It means that you offer them a photo or logo, then they'll change it onto your t-shirt. It's becoming more and more popular today. Getting a photograph onto a t shirt is normally done using a process called dye sublimation, or by creating a heat transfer and applying this to the shirt.
