How do you remove front bumper on a golf mk2?

To remove the front bumper * Remove the front indicators * Raise the front wheels off the ground and support the front of the car with axle stands * Looking under the front of the car you will see a cross-member which supports the front of the engine and the radiator etc. You should see the heads of three bolts at each end of the cross-member. The outer two bolts are the ones securing the front bumper, remove these and the bumper will slide forward and out.
