YOu have to remove the brake caliper, rotor, ,take the nut off that holds the shaft, disconnect the strut, and lower control arm to get them out of the way. Loosen the shaft by putting a large screw driver between the transaxle and the half shaft and it should snap out. Replace in reverse order. NOTE: when inserting the new shaft make sure IT SNAPS firmly into place,,,try to pull it out by hand you shouldn't be able to.
It's not a real difficult job but get yourself a Haynes Manual at an auto parts store, IT will show you entire procedure.

Remove 2 small u-bolts from rear end yoke Pry drive shaft out of yoke Slide front end of drive shaft off front splines
Move the steering shaft. There is one bolt under the plastic cover. This is the pinch bolt .Remove it and slide shaft towards firewall ,move shaft out of the way ,replace plug,re-install shaft,bolt and plastic cover.
You have to replace the whole drive shaft.

It does not have a drive shaft as such. It has a transaxle which which converts the power of the engine to the wheels. The transaxle also serves as the transmission.

not possible. the whole drive shaft needs replaced.
Remove the wiper arm from the shaft by pressing in the small tab under the arm, and lift up. Then remove the nut on the shaft. That will leave you with only one more nut to remove from inside the window. It's on a bracket attached to the motor.
drive universal jount
Tire imbalance, wheel bearing bad, drive shaft imbalance, bad u joint in that order.
disconnect itermediate shaft from rack & pinion check u joint if stiff replace shaft
It's part of the driveshaft outer cv joint. Replace the shaft as per 2002 Clio 1.5dci
