Direct injection works somewhat similar to regular fuel injection, but at a MUCH higher PSI. say a non-direct injection car's fuel pressure is anywhere from 40-60SPI, a direct injection fuel pressure runs in the couple of thousands of PSI for gasoline and up to and more than 20,000 PSI for diesel direct injection.
the other difference is instead of the injector spraying the fuel into the intake manifold runner (where it has to travel a short distance to the combustion chamber, some fuel doesn't stay as a fine mist, it will stick to the wall of the runner and bead up, like rain on a window) direct injection sprays, you guessed it, DIRECTLY into the combustion chamber. it gives a good boost to compression, which gives you more power and better efficiency
No they don't. Each one has there own special Sky viewing cards and won't work in others. You couldn't take one from Dish network and put it in a Direct TV and suspect it to work cause it wouldn't.
Ceramic injection molding is similar to plastic molding. It uses a machine that heats ceramic at a very high temperature. It will melt it than it will heat it to make it stay.
Normally this unit is called an ECM (Electronic Control Module), injection computers are normally used in the aftermarket fuel injection systems.Basically the system works by controlling the pulse width (injector timing) of the injectors compaired to several factors:Fuel line pressureRPM's (engine speed, not vehicle speed)Air flowAmbient air temperatureOxygen (in exhaust)Engine temperatureBarometric pressure (only on some systems, other systems 'guess' the pressure based on output readings)Manifold VacuumThrottle position (user demand)
Yes. Both should have throttle body fuel injection. It should be a direct bolt in.
Depending on the engine and fuel type...Diesel - direct injection fuel pumps generate approx 1600 bar (23 200 psi) for common rail systems, as for the pump-nozzle injector diesel systems (pumpe - duse German translation), the pump can generate over 2000 bar (29 000 psi)Gasoline engines have electric fuel pump located inside a fuel tank, and produces approx 3 bar of pressure (43 psi).
A direct injection engine injects fuel directly into the combustion chamber where non-direct systems inject into a burn chamber to lower stress on the the engine internal components.
There are many types of fuel injection technology, but there are four very popular systems made available for newer cars. They are single-port, multi-port, sequential injection, and direct injection.
sidi means Spark Ignition Direct Injection
A direct bolt in, no. They have different fuel injection systems.
There is not an easy way to do this. An injection system has to have a computer to work and a computer for a carburetor system will not work. There are some after market systems that include all the parts, but are usually expensive.
Husky Injection Molding Systems was created in 1953.
both are same technologies ...CRDI is Common rail DIRECT INJECTION

Gasoline Direct Injection
Turbo Direct Injection. Usually on diesel powered vehicles.
Turbo Diesel Injection. NO! it means TURBO DIRECT INJECTION.
