I did not have an extended warranty but i had a typical warranty covering ur car up to 60,000 miles. I called the dealership about the soelnoid and found out its a regular problem with the corollas a computer malfunction so u dont need a new solenoid just a new computer chip. The dealership covers it for free woo-hoo and a free car wash cant beat that but i know it could range to 500$ depending where u got ur car workedon.
