Pierre-Auguste Renoir, 1841-1919 Two Sisters on the Terrace
Answering a question about how much a work of art is worth is difficult to answer because the "value" is determined on how much a person is willing to offer and whether owner accepts the offer. So the answer could be $1.00 to $100million.
Bal au moulin de la Galette sold for $78million in 1990. If the owner chose to sell Bal au moulin, it could fetch more or less depending on how the wind blows on the day of the sale.
Two Sisters is owned by the Art Institute of Chicago. If they ever sold it, I have little doubt that it would be sold at auction and the sale would more than likely be over $100million
