A rule fo thumb on all cars is this. First I'm not sure were your distributor is on your car but I really don't have to know. All front and rear wheel drive cars be it 4 or 6 or 8 cylinder engines number 1 cylinder is on the front of the engine. And the back of a engine is always were the transmission is. This is a rule of thumb there might be some foreign made car out there some were that might be differnt but I haven't seen it.
its 1-5-3-6-2-4 Clockwise on the distributor, #1 is at the front of the engine.
The front cylinder is #1. That is the cylinder on the opposite end of the engine that the transmission connects too.The front cylinder is #1. That is the cylinder on the opposite end of the engine that the transmission connects too.
1 - 5 - 3 - 6 - 2 - 4 The distributor rotor turns CLOCKWISE The marked # position on the distributor cap faces AWAY from the engine The engine cylinders are numbered 1 to 6 , from front to rear
The firing order is 1-5-3-6-2-4. The number 1 cylinder is closest to the front. The numbers are in line from 1 to 6.
yes it is the one closest to the radiator on drivers side (left)
When standing on the passanger side looking at the distributor the top right plug is cylinder one (the cylinder closest to the distributor). The top left plug on the distributor is cylinder two. The bottom left plug is cylinder three. Finally the bottom left plug is cylinder four (the cylinder furthest from the distributor, closest to the timing gear). Hope this helps.
Distributor- 4-3-2-1- timing belt 34 12 (looking at distributor firing order)
If it is a 4-cylinder engine, it is the cylinder furthest to the passenger side of the engine. If it is a V-6 engine, it is also on the passenger side, but on the head closest to the firewall.
Cylinder #3 is the 3rd one starting from belts side. #1 is closest to the belts, #4 is furthest away from belts
It is closest to the radiator for the 4 cylinder engine motor.
South down's is closest. USA is furthest.
You are closest to the Sun at perihelion and furthest at aphelion. As to which month, it will depend on where you live. In the Northern Hemisphere you are closest to the Sun in January and furthest in July.
You should start with the one furthest away from the master cylinder, then work your way down to the one closest to it.
Follow the spark plug wire from the #1 cylinder back to the distributor. This will be the 1 position. The #1 cylinder is the one at the front of the engine closest to the radiator.
follow your plug wires from your distributor, just remember dont pull on the wires to disengage them, pull on the base[CLOSEST TO THE PLUG].
There should be a mark on the distributor or it's switch plate that indicates where the rotor should point for cylinder 1. If you look at the distributor from the front of the vehicle, the closest center position should be for cylinder 2. Clockwise 1/8 th turn from that should be cylinder 1 position, but double check against the indicator mark that should be present.
The firing order for a Mitsubishi 1.8 liter engine is 1, 3, 4, 2. The number one cylinder is on the left side, closest to the engine pulley.
