Yes, I'd say so.
(belt) if it needs replacing do water pump at the same time it runs off the timing belt save time and money
timing chain it,s the same engine as my wifes corsa auto
It's been a while since I worked on a 1G Talon, but I believe the water Pump is located on the serpentine belt. It's the same belt with the crank shaft and alternator. No, you should not remove the timing belt.
It is more difficult than said.....The tire must be removes athe alternater and Powers stearing belts remove..front mother mount plate...then set the timing marks..and remove Pully...When replacing a timing belt..I would strongly suggest replacing the water pump..since it is drivin on this belt...it would be a shameto get all the way back together...and Have you'r water pump brake soon after....It is the same amount of work to replace this Pumpa as it is the Timming belt.
Well, if its a petrol engine, i assume its the same as the Honda accord made between 1994-1998, because they really are the same car. That interval is 60000miles.
Yes , cam belt and timing belt mean the same thing
Yes , a cam belt and a timing belt are the same thing
same side of the engine as the timing belt,by the bottom of the timing belt horizontally
I have never heard of a cam belt, but a timing belt does drive the cam or cams
A timing belt is often a toothed belt, but there are other places where toothed belts can be used as well.
Yes
No the timing belt drives the camshaft. A serpentine belt drives accessories such as alternator, power steering and ac.
No.
They are the same thing.
No
No , the serpentine belt is outside of the engine , at the front , and is used to " drive " the accesories . Also , it uses a timing CHAIN instead of a timing belt
We have the same car, and it has a timing chain.
