Slide the top cover to the right, unplug the wires on the right, take out the two long bolts in the top, gently lift up by shaking and pulling up the cover over the plugs, you can screw in two long bolts in the wholes where you took the two out to help leaver and shake the top off the plugs
I recommend you get a service manual; the one the dealer techs use not Chilton, etc.. Ebay usually have these for the specific year. If you are going to do any work on your car you will need the service manual. The head can be removed after you remove the intake and exhaust manifolds, valve cover,head bolts (the 16v engine requires some of the rocker arms be removed to get to the head bolts). The service manual will give a step by step procedure.
you are probably refering to a rocker arm. In a pushrod motor the rocker are opens the valves. A rod rides on the camshaft and as the lobes on it come around the rod pushes up on the rocker are which does exactly that, rocks the same as the rocker on a rocking chair . The rod pushes up on the rocker which then pushes down on the valve, opening it.

hi your cam sensor an a petrol vectra b is under the rocker cover the bit where it says ecotec remove this panel and u will c the spark plugs remove all the bolts from the rocker cover and u will have to remove the top half of the timing belt cover to access the cam sensor it is in between the cam pullies.
Almost all Hondas and Acuras are the same. Just remove any screw and clip that hold the rocker in place. Once done hit it from the quarter panel toward the front. Best done with rear wheel removed.

Best way for me is to use a magnetic pick up tool and go in from the top after you have removed the rocker arms and push rods
