If your doctor doesnt listen to your concerns I'd be concerned about that doctor!

You have spent the last 32 years in your own body. If your body is doing something that causes you concern you have every right to find a professional that will do his or her duty and listen to you. YOU ARE THE EXPERT, and as an expert on yourself, you have some questions and concerns and have every right to seek a second or even third opinion! In the very least I would continue to ask your dr. directly WHY he/she feels that it is of no concern. Granted its been attributed to your thyroid, but ask HOW that makes it suddenly OK? It may be an affect of the medication, or it may be something they just dont merit as a concern. Either way you have a right to know WHY.

Personally I think I consulted some 5-6 professionals before I gained peace of mind with my resting heart rate of 52-58.

If you are interested in LOWERING your heart rate meditation and biofeedback are great non-medical options (and of course there is always the old ever reliable stand by of physical fitness!) ;-)

Q: Should I be worried if my resting pulse was 110-122 Yes I've been to my GP who doesn't seem to care. He just blames it on my thyroid.....but surely something should be done I'm 32 female?
