A TTT stands for Tibial Tubercle Transfer. Basically, you know the bump below your knee (tibial tubercle) they move that, by breaking that off your tibia with the patellar tendon attached and move it to a more 'appropriate' place. After they move it, they screw it into place with either one or two screws.
I happen to suffer from slight knee pain and in the ankles and the wrists, it is not so much about the pain but about the constant irritable feeling all the time and crackling sounds. Doctor suggested that i start taking supplements "glucosamine and condroitin". Acc. to him some people have arthiritis early on in life. and so it is good to start taking supplements that would aid the joints in remaining lubricated.

It is going to take a few weeks for the swelling to go down. Go see a doctor to have an x-ray and a MRI done to make sure that you did not tear anything in your knee. I also hurt my knee cap a month ago. I went to the doctor and he said it will take a few weeks for the swelling to go down. In two more weeks I have to go to physical therapy. Get well soon. Keep your leg on a pillow to rest it.
I just had a large plica band removed via arthroscopy in my left knee along with a debridement of a pretty large meniscus tear. Four days after surgery, I went to work, and the next day was mowing the grass. Took a 1 mile walk with no problems on the sixth day after surgery. Stitches were removed after two weeks and my knee feels almost as good as new, and certainly better than just before surgery.
Arthroscopic knee surgery is a simple procedure done on an outpatient basis. While the patient is sedated, the scope is inserted via two tiny incisions, giving the doctor the ability to correct small problems. Ligament tears are often corrected this way.

Yes, jogging after a two-year gap can lead to ankle swelling, especially if your body isn't accustomed to the sudden increase in activity. This swelling may result from overuse, improper footwear, or inadequate warm-up and stretching. It's important to ease back into jogging gradually and listen to your body to prevent injury. If swelling persists, consulting a healthcare professional is advisable.

I had arthroscopy surgery too on my right knee on aug.5th almost a month ago. I'm experiencing more pain now that I had before. They said that after a few weeks I should have my full range of motion back and be able to run and be back in sports in 1-2 months. But I'm just having a lot of trouble walking especially since school just started. They had thought I tore my meniscus, but during the procedure they found out I have a cracked cartilage, synovitis, and separation of my lateral and medial facets. I just turned 17 and I am also experiencing discomfort on my left knee too. Especially when I wake up its so stiff and it doesnt make any sense. My family thinks it's bothering me because I'm putting more pressure on my left knee. Does your right inner ankle bother you too sometimes? Mine feels like it needs to pop or something. I have another appointment in two weeks but I have a feeling they wont know what to do other than take it easy. I'm sorry about your discomfort, it's really not fun at all, I hope your surgery goes better than your last and I hope I dont have to end up having another surgery like you too. Thank you for putting this up because I was just wondering if anyone has had the same problems and apparently I'm not the only one.
