=Colours that go well with blue in fashion and design would depend on the shade of blue e.g. baby blue goes with pink, yellow, purple, cream, orange, whereas navy blue goes with red, pink, yellow, green etc. If you look up a color wheel on the internet you will find it easier to find which colors match by looking at the first color on one side and matching it with the color opposite the first color.=
Black, sliver, pink. They all coordinate! If it is for the Fourth of July, I would recomend sliver.

As with all artwork, the time taken with the artwork determines if the work is good. Make your design on paper first. Sharpie markers are permanent and they don't come out, so it is worthwhile to finish your design on paper first and then copy it to the fabric. Remember that the colors will not be as bright on gray as on white paper, so adjust accordingly.

Shading colors can be black, gray or the mixture of a color with gray, or by tinting and shading.
Gray goes very well with pink. With the combination of pink and gray together, the gray gives a professional look, while the pink adds a feminine touch. I totally agree!
