You can stop at most major electronic stores and get a universal outlet plug. With respect to your power needs, you have two considerations when traveling...1) is the power (voltage and frequency) compatible, and 2) will you need an adapter? Most modern electronic chargers such as cell phones, cameras, electric shavers, etc., will accept any of the normal range of voltages (110-240) and frequencies (50-60 Hz)...but be careful as some may not. Your camera charger should have the acceptable voltage and frequency ranges printed on the back. Italy uses 230 volts and 50 Hz. If your camera charger will accept these values, then all you need to do is to find an adapter. If not, then you need to find a power converter and an adapter. Usually, anytime you buy a power converter it will come with a number of adapters, but if not, you will have to purchase one separately. If all you need is an adapter, they can usually be purchased at any of the major electronic stores such as Fry's, Best Buy, Radio Shack, etc.
you need a battery charger.
Well yes and no. If you are an American not nessicarily, as they use two types of plug, your long thin plug and a two narrow round one. The standard American one was in some of the hotel rooms but not in others so it would be wise to get an international adapter.
Hi there, I believe you can do this! All you need to do is connect your camera through the USB 2.0 cable which should be supplied by your camera manufacturer. You will need to make sure you open it as a removable disk. Then you need to drag your photos into the DCIM folder which is on your camera memory. Then simply remove your camera from the device and it should work!
You would need a small camera that is light and easy to use with big gloves on.

Canon chargers are primarily used by Canon camera's and camcorders. You would need the charger whenever the camera is low on battery or if you need to charge the flasher.
It depends on how often you use your camera. If you just casually use it, you may only have to charge the battery once of twice a year.

If you have a very expensive camera, you usage will determine what type of insurance you need to get for your equipment should it be damaged or stolen. If you use you camera equipment as part of a regular business that you earn income from, you need to get a commercial insurance policy to cover your equipment. If you primarily use your camera for personal use or only charge or your services on occasion, then you are safe to add camera insurance to your homeowner's policy. This is often a less expensive option than a commercial policy.
The best way to handle camera's in need of cleaning is to go directly through the store you purchased it from or the camera manufacturer. They may charge a bit more but you know you are getting the highest quality service back.
If you have a Kodak camera with dock capabilities, the best place to set it up is simply on top of your desk next to your computer. You need to remember that the dock will need to be plugged into the wall so that the camera can charge. This means that you need to have enough plugs that are close so that the computer and the dock can be plugged in at once. If there is not enough room, you may need to get a power strip or a surge protector. This can give you the outlets that you need.
"Best" is in the eye of the beholder - or the customer - or the hotel marketing department. You will need to determine where you want to stay and what price range fits your pocketbook.
