Your alternator will stop working, your motor will heat up and you will need to call AAA asap.
What makes it even worse is that on significant number of cars the belt is also driving the Power Steering, so it will suddenly become very hard to turn the wheel. On high way speeds it results in a very dangerous situation.
Well to start with the question is a bit vague. A pulley has nothing to do with a start operation; a loose pulley may cause the belt not to turn fast enough to charge the battery and that's as far as it goes. Check your belt tension. If loose tighten it. That's All
It is usually one or the other. Keys are simple, the key goes in the slot and the pulley is aligned and pushed on. Splines usually have a smooth section on the end of the shaft to rest the pulley on, make slight contact with the end of the splines and slowly turn the pulley until you feel the splines match.
Yes there is two ways: you can either play it on Facebook or wait until it goes free in the app store. (this happens to every app every once in a while)
The pulleys sometimes separate and need replacing. There should be a schematic on the fan shroud.
It goes up ur ass. Then u eat it
This depends on what you mean by "goes out". If the clutch doesn't grab anymore you will cost to a stop. If the clutch will not release, you will have a hard time stopping.
No it is not. A belt, for example, goes around a pulley.
my oil pressure goes up while I'm driving and back down when I stop what could cause that
in some cases but not usually
it goes out
While driving, the dashboard lights will fall and the car will stall if the vehicle goes dead. This can be caused by a lack of fuel or mechanical failure.
If the entire puck crosses the goal line and goes into the net, then it is a goal.
Could be low on ATF. Check it.
Okay, open belt. The top of belt goes straight from starter pulley to steering pulling along firewall up from front side of steering pump to tensioner pulley. Tensioner pulley is right above steering pump and belt goes on its backsite, grove side of belt doesn't touch pulley which goes around the top of it, from there to the drive shaft(the largest pulley coming from the engine)the groves match the pulley and go 3/4 around the pulley then go up to the starter again. Along the way to the starter pulley is goes around the idler pulley on its backside again. Tensioner Pulley has to be held for the belt to fit all the pulleys with a 15mm wrench. Tough but not
When it goes bad
Your fuel filter is important for maintaining free flowing gas to your engine. If the line or filter gets clogged, your car may sputter or stop while driving.
The main pulley on which the serpentine belt goes on in a 1997 Chevy Lumina LTZ is the crankshaft pulley. The crankshaft pulley plays a role in the wheels turning and powering the alternator and power steering pump.
