It is a pigment that reacts to Ultra Violet light. My tattoo shop wil not touch the stuff. If you want to see how your tattoo would look if it reacted to black light take some mineral water and paint it on. I guess some people want a tatto but they don't want it visible until they are in a club / bar. I think it is a shame to hide any good art.
