On the title page of the book there is a ninja star that has letters on it. That is the key to the code on the pages in the middle of the book. A equals a square. Note that it does not have all the letters of the alphabet. You don't need all of them. Once decoded, the message says, "The Competition Is About Hope" . That is the message of the third book.
