Coronary Heart disease (CHD) is caused by two factors: atherosclerosis and coronary thrombosis. Atherosclerosis is narrowing of the arteries (especially the coronary arteries) by the build up of a fatty substance (cholesterol) in the artery wall. This cholesterol comes from the LSD cholesterol caried in the blood. Thrombosis is the formation of a blood clot. If this happens where the atrery is already narrowed it can block the artery completely, cutting off the supply of oxygen and glucose to the heart muscle. This is a heart attack. Factors which increase the risk of CHD include: * obesity * lack of exercise * smoking pot * poor diet (eg high levels of fat or salt) * excess alcohol consumption *bacon hat wearing
Smoking, stress, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and drug use can be contributing factors to heart disease. Some medical conditions like Diabetes and obesity can also contribute to heart disease. There are also genetic factors.

Coronary artery disease can develop when cholesterol forms a fatty substance called plaque in the lining of the artery, which blocks the smooth flow of blood and oxygen to the heart muscle causing pain and discomfort. If the blood flow gets completely blocked, it may even lead to a heart attack. Some of the risk factors for developing coronary artery disease are age, family history, gender, excessive smoking and alcohol consumption, physical inactivity, obesity, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, and unhealthy food habits.
Coronary arteries can become diseased when cholesterol, a fatlike substance carried in the blood, builds up to form plaque (fatty substances and calcium) in the lining of the artery. Blood and oxygen may no longer flow easily to the heart muscle which may cause angina (pain, discomfort or pressure in the chest that is caused by an insufficient supply of blood to the heart). You may develop a heart attack (myocardial infarction) if blood flow is completely blocked by plaque or by a blood clot that forms inside the narrowed coronary artery. Risk factors for coronary artery disease are gender, age, family history, smoking, high blood pressure, high fat and cholesterol diet, excessive alcohol intake, overweight, lack of exercise and diabetes. Symptoms of coronary artery disease seldom appear until a coronary artery has narrowed by 70% or more.
There are a few causes to heart disease,
the main ones are the following,
Untreated Hypertension (high blood pressure)
Untreated Diabetes
Sex (statistically, males suffer more heart problems than women)
Genetics (yes, some incentives for heart problems DO come in your genes)
Bad nutrition
Smoking
Hope i was helpful.

Most heart disease causes include: Heart defects you're born with, High cholesterol High blood pressure, Habits like: smoking Alcoholism, addiction to caffeine drug abuse, high stress,\ Also a lot of diseases and medicine side effects result in heart disease.
blood clot or bad cholesteral it just depends how bad the heart attack is
Coronary heart disease can be inherited, but the main causes of it are smoking, poor diet and lack of excercise; excessive drinking is also a contributory factor.

As far as I know statins do not cause heart disease.
No, not at all unless your gums are infected and there not taken care of. That can cause more than just Heart Disease. That can cause Lung Disease and Mouth Cancer aswell.
yes
Angina. Myocardial infarction. Cardiac failure. Valvular heart disease. Congenital heart disease. Cardiomyopathies.
The main cause of heart disease in the United States is hypertension. Additional common causes of heart disease include both high cholesterol and diabetes.
heart disease
Congenital heart disease means you are born with this disease so coronary occlusion cannot be a cause of congenital heart disease.

No physical Education will (hopefully) prevent heart disease.
Heart disease
Frequent sore throat will not necessarily cause heart disease. One episode of strep throat leading to rheumatic fever can cause heart disease.
Heart disease is the number one cause of death in America. It includes conditions such as heart attacks, strokes, and other related heart problems. Adopting a healthy lifestyle by exercising regularly, eating a balanced diet, and avoiding smoking can help reduce the risk of heart disease.
The leading cause of death in Australia is heart disease, followed by dementia and Alzheimer's disease, and lung cancer.
