Hi, Have you tried looking in your owners manual first for the spark plug gap, some owners manuals will say there is an underhood engine specification listing underneath the hood and also to check under your hood to see if its there.
Per Haynes Repair Manual for Ford Ranger Pickups 1993-2005, the correct spark plug and gap for Ford Ranger four-cylinder engines 2.5L (1998-2001) are: spark plug = AWSTF32-F or equivalent; gap = 0.042 to 0.046. Also noted is: If differences exist between the plug specified on the emissions label and the owner's manual or in this chapter's specifications, assume that the vehicle emissions label is correct. You can also ask for the gap size where you purchase the spark plugs.
According to one of the Ford websites :
For a 1993 Ford Aerostar , 3.0 liter V6 engine :
( the spark plugs are gapped at .044 inch )
Chilton's Auto Repair Manual 1964-1971 states that all 390's should use BF 42 plugs and the plug gaps should be .034 inch.
According to one of Fords websites :
For a 1988 Ford E-150 Econoline Club Wagon , 302 cubic inch V8 engine :
The spark plugs are gapped at ( .044 inch )
0.060 inch(1.52 mm)
.054
.060
0.060
in the engine area directly in front of the steering wheel
If your check engine light is blinking that means an engine cylinder misfire has been detected . You can drive it in for repair , just avoid any rapid aceleration or deceleration because you can damage the catalytic converter
Need more info, does it turn over? Did you check to see if you have fuel getting to the engine (does the pump in the tank run when you turn the key)? Do you have spark (check with a inline spark tester $6.00)?
Try .032
The master cylinder on a 1999 suburban is pretty easy to change. Under the dash, disconnect the clutch pedal from the cylinder rod. disconnect the brake lines from the master cylinder and allow to drain into a container. Unbolt the cylinder and remove. Install the new cylinder and connect the lines and rod back up. Add new fluid, and bleed the slave cylinder to finish the installation.
