We would have a temperature equal to the temperature in space. The short answer is that the temperature in space is approximately 2.725 Kelvin. That means the universe is generally just shy of three degrees above absolute zero - the temperature at which molecules themselves stop moving. That's almost -270 degrees Celsius, or -455 Fahrenheit The results of that would be complete cessation of life as we know it for all organisms on earth.

It's obvious, it would make the earth much hotter which would evaporate everything and or it can blow up causing the earth to explode. We are supposedly going to terraform Mars, meaning we are going to make it habitable so we can live on it. That is quite and interesting thing to study.

The result would be catastrophic for all life on earth. A cooled core which produced no more heat would mean no volcanic activity which could be a mixed blessing.

However, the more serious consequence would be that the Earth's iron core would no longer be molten. A solid and static core would not generate a magnetic field. The loss of the magnetic field would mean that there would be nothing left to protect the earth from the charged particles in the solar wind and from cosmic radiation. Without that protection the upper atmosphere would be blasted away and with it the ozone layer which protect us from the harmful effects of the sun's ultra violet radiation. Life on earth would not survive in its current form.

What would happen if everyone in England used energy saving light bulbs?

Then the people themselves would save money. The higher cost of the light-bulbs is more than compensated by the savings in energy. Also, you would do a favor to planet Earth.

What would happen inside a light bulb if it was filled with air?

It would no longer work. Light bulbs are usually under vacuum and if air gets in the filament blows.

What would happen if the earth had less light and heat?

It would freeze over.

What would happen if we didn't have any light bulbs?

Yes, you can live without light bulbs... That would give an increase of fires though...

Most of the Sun's ultraviolet light reaches the Earth's surface?

If that will happen life on earth would be wiped out. Most ultraviolet light heading for earth would be blocked by the ozone layer.

In a combination of a parallel and series circuit what would happen if a light bulb was unscrewed?

In a parallel circuit nothing would happen. All the other light bulbs would remain on since there is an alternative path for current to flow. In a series circuit the entire circuit would be de-energized and all the bulbs would go out.

What so good about light bulbs?

without light bulbs the modern world would be plunged into darkness. Light bulbs can not only produce light, but also heat, preventing the death of some pets, such as geckos, snakes, and lizards.

What would happen to the bulbs if three more were added to this series circuit?

Nothing would "happen" to them, but they would glow less brightly.

What whould happen if you had no moon?

if there were no moon, there would be no light in the sky at night (earth would be a lot darker at night, earth's days would be longer (earth will rotate slower), and there will be no tides (the moon pulls the tides)

What would happen to life on earth if the moon left your orbit?

I think we'de just get, like, no nighttime light except for the stars. There would be no tides and earth would be flooded. How on Earth does the Earth flood b/c of the MOON? No offense.

What will happen to our sun when it uses all its energy?

IT will no longer porvide light, which would make life impossible on earth

Why can light bulbs be called heat bulbs?

Heat bulbs would be a more appropriate name because incandescent bulbs transform 90% of electricity received into heat and 10% into light. New Compact Fluorescent light bulbs use only 20% to 30% of the energy needed to power a standard bulb for the same wattage.
