Does the air flow sensor control the CVT transmission on the Nissan xtrail QR20 engine?

Hmm... not directly it assists the trottle body through maintaining the air to fuel ratio specified for the engine in return the troottle body controls some sensor components of the transmission resulting in its performance so in short the trottle body plays an important role in the transmission's function and the air flow sensor plays an important role in the trottle body's function.

Where do you place jack to change front tire?

You should put the jack on the frame like it says in the instruction manual, but its hard to do from there i would suggest that you should put it on the axel, it may or may not work, i have not tried it, but its really hard to push the jack up on the frame.
