on the black pipe leading to the air box its square and clipped
If it is stalling when putting it into gear but not while idleing I would check your mass air flow sensor. It may need to be cleaned or replaced. If it is stalling when putting it into gear but not while idleing I would check your mass air flow sensor. It may need to be cleaned or replaced.
right before the mass air flow sensor
The MAF is under the hood (!) - facing the car from the front bumper, it'll be on the right hand side, just to the left of the AIR FILTER box. There is a hose that comes off the airf filter box that runs to the intake manifold. The MAF is inline, and it can be identified by the sensor wire that attaches to the firewall side of the hose. HTH
Yes!
The IAT sensor (Intake Air Temperature) is an integral part of the Mass Air Flow sensor. If the IAT sensor must be replaced, you must replace the MAF sensor
They are in the exhaust flow
Clogged fuel filter, clogged air filter, maybe the mass air flow sensor located in the air intake duct. ( take it to o'Reilly's or to a garage and put a diagnostic computer on it to see what fail codes come up. Mass air flow sensor will give a fail code.) Weak fuel pump?
It does not have a mass air flow sensor. It does not have a mass air flow sensor.

To drain the radiator of a 1999 Oldsmobile Intrigue, first ensure the engine is cool and then place a drain pan under the radiator. Locate the radiator drain petcock, usually found at the bottom of the radiator, and carefully open it to allow the coolant to flow out. If your model lacks a petcock, you may need to remove the lower radiator hose to drain the coolant. Once drained, close the petcock or reattach the hose, and dispose of the coolant properly.
Follow the rubber hose that goes to the intake manifold at the throttle body, it is the square part that bolts together to it you will see some wires there.
The "mass air flow" sensor would be located in the snorkel between the air filter box and the throttle body.
It does not have a mass air flow sensor.
A 1999 Chrysler Sebring does not have a mass airflow sensor.
Must remove the throttle air intake hose from throttle body. Then disconnect the wiring and remove the sensor and spray with mass air flow sensor cleaner.
After the air flows though the air filter there is a large plastic tube that carries it to the mass air flow sensor. It's at the end of this tube at the top of the engine. The sensor is easily reconizable after you purchase a new one from the auto parts store. It is black. Round on top attached to a square plate held down with 4 screws. One on each of the 4 corners of the plate.
