The two locations it could be are
1. Top rear of engine next to distributor
2. Bottom drivers side of engine above the oil filter.
The second option is more likely as it was moved to this location on most vehicles in the early to mid 80s.
Standing in front of the engine, you will see it just under the dis. cap to the right towards the fire wall.
