Alexander the great conquered all of the known world in his time. Leonidas was a king of Sparta that led the allied Greek forces into battle at Thermopylae. However, whoever was better relies on opinion.
It depends if you are talking about which is stronger the answer would be that Sparta is stronger. They had a strong army but Athens had a better navy or if you want to know which has a better government or better education then the answer would be Athens.
Sparta valued:The military. One's duty to defend.Strength.Discipline.Toughness.Service to Sparta goes above everything; including love towards one's family.Women were treated better than in other parts of Greece.Sports/Festivals.Athens valued:Glorifying the empire.Fairness.Being a strong empire.Being athletic.Education.Defend Athens.
The Peloponnesian war was Between Athens and Sparta. Sparta was jealous of Athens and hated their idea of democracy. Sparta was strong on land, Athens at sea. But in the end, Sparta won and established an Oligarchy called the 30 tyrants. But 50 years later when Sparta was still weak from fighting Athens, a kingdom to the north called Macedonia, led by Alexander the Great, conquered Sparta.
The Peloponnesian War was between Athens and Sparta. It was after the great Persian war, when Athens and Sparta worked together to defeat Persia. The Peloponnesian War was started because Sparta feared Athens may dominate them one day. There was a big battle between them, lasting for many years, but in the end, Sparta won.
Sparta is stronger, obviously. They had a great army. People in Sparta, most of their life, they trained. Even the girls. If you were a baby and you were sick and unhealthy they would throw you out. So only the strong and brave were in Sparta. Spartans were very patriotic too. They were not allowed to show weakness. Some stories say that you would keep a fox in your shirt and it would scratch and bite you. If you showed any weakness you would've been an outcast. On the other hand, Athens weren't really into military skills. They were the social, artistic ones. So obviously Sparta is way stronger. Hope this helped! :) :) :)
King Kamehameha the great or Leonidas of Sparta
because he was the Spartan leader who won the battle of Thermopylae, and Salamis. In Sparta, if you had some sort of defect, you were thrown off the cliff. Leonidas was born with a defect, but his parents chose to let him live, even though it was against the law. It's a good thing they did, because he became a great leader fro Greece (but mostly Sparta).
His father was Anaxandridas ll the great king of Sparta!!... When his father died Leonidas got all the power!!..
The Spartan Leonidas did not train Alexander the Great. The Leonidas who trained Alexander lived far after the Persian Wars.
King leonidas
Alexander the great was born in Pella in the ancient Greek kingdom of Macedonia on the northern Greek peninsula. He is considered by historians to be a Greek from the ancient kingdom of Macedonia just like Leonidas was a Greek from Sparta and Pericles was a Greek from Athens.
By holding the Persians at Thermopalae he delayed them for two days and proved they were not invincible. And by refusing to retreat from Thermopalae when the battle was lost, his sacrifice set an example of courage for the rest of Greece to follow, although militarily it was not the wise thing to do.
king leonidas
Athens was a democracy and had more liberal (for that time) thinking and had good navy. Sparta was a oligarchy was more conservative and militaristic and had great army. In the war between them (Peloponnesian war), Sparta won.

In ancient times, Sparta was the leading rival of Athens
I think it was Leonidas from classical Greece
