Sounds like a possible bad fuel filter. When a fuel filter is dirty or clogged fuel can only get through it when it is forced through, something like driving down the highway. When you are at a stoplight the fuel pump is only pump a minimum amount of gas to keep the car running. If the filter is dirty it may not have enough pressure to get through. Torque converter is locking into gear. If you have a front wheel drive general motors, this can be an easy fix at no cost. Just find the blue square four-prong wiring harness plug that plugs into the front of the transmission (radiator side) towards the drivers side of the car. Just unplug that and drive!

Can powder protein drinks cause heart palpitations?

No. Even a large amount of protein shakes should not, assuming that your diet is otherwise complete. Remember that pure whey protein shakes are not a replacement for a meal, only a supplement and should not be used as a sole source of nutrition. Be sure to consume other sources of food. However; if you have an existing heart condition, powders such as whey protein CAN cause tachycardia (not immediately though).

Your 1999 Olds Intrigue GX will not rev up past 3800 RPM in Park even though you have more gas pedal to use?

It has a rev limiter, it is supposed to do that in park or neutral.

Why can't you remove your key from the ignition on a 1995 Chevrolet Corsica And why can you only put car in neutral instead of park?

the reason why you can't take the key out is probably because it is not in park, i noticed it with my '91 corsica. i have no idea why it won't go into park though

Why do my brake lights and cruise control not work on 2001 ford explorer sport even though all other lights work?

Brake Lights Don't WorkThere could be several causes for this problem, and without being able to see and troubleshoot the brake light wiring circuit no one can tell you the specific cause. Some of the possible causes include:Brake light switch is not adjusted properly. The fuse for that circuit is "blown" out.A wiring harness connector anywhere in that circuit has become unplugged, or loose. The ground wire or wires for that circuit have become disconnected, or the connection of the ground wires to the vehicle's grounded body sheet metal has been blocked by corrosion.A wire in the circuit has been cut, broken, or pulled loose. The brake light switch has become defective. There are probably a few other causes I have forgotten about.

What should you do if the brake lights on your 94 Geo Prizm do not work?

If neither one is working, the first thing to check is your fuse. If the fuse is okay, replace the bulbs and if that doesn't work, it's probably the brake light switch. The switch is the least likely culprit though because they rarely go bad.

Why do Reverse lights stay on in 1995 cutlass supreme?

It sounds as though your safety neutral switch has to be adjusted. It has an adjustment kind of like screw that you can adjust. I suggest having someone that knows what they are looking for on it to do it. I had my safety neutral switch replaced and it did the same thing until I took it back and they re-adjusted it.

What to do with the white wire in track light with black green and white wires if the house does not have a white one?

The white is neutral. The house does have a neutral wire even though it may be black. One of those black wires is the neutral and the other is the hot wire. You will have to determine which is hot and which is neutral. You can easily do this with a voltage tester. The wire that lights the tester is the hot. When you wire the light simply wire the hot to hot, and the white and green to the other wire.

When you look at diagrams for wiring fluorescent lights you do not see clearly a neutral wire All electrical components need it Where is it in fluorescent lights?

Actually, many components do not have or need a neutral. 3-phase equipment such as motors, heaters and the like do not use a neutral. Some older 240V electric clothes dryers (in the US) did not have a neutral. The 2.5 ton, 240V airconditioner on my roof doesn't use a neutral either. Fluorescent fixtures do however, as you note, need a neutral. The two power wires coming out of the ballast are usually a black and a white wire in the US, the white wire is the neutral. On older fixtures with a separate starter, the white wire (neutral) may not go to the ballast. Instead it goes to the tube socket. It's still white, though. Note that many of the current rapid-start fixtures also need a grounded reflector to reliably start. These fixtures will require a hot, neutral AND ground conductor, properly connected, to work.
