Are you resting your foot on the accelerator pedal? If so the computer recognises it and will keep it from starting. Also, the fuel filter may be stopping up. It should be changed every 2 years.
on the front of the motor under the front crank it has a plug going to the crank.

She continues to throw as you are trying to crank the lift, and you can only miss 7 or 8 of the items before you have to start over. The trick is to catch 4 objects in a row. She stops for a few seconds and gets mad, then throws a small bomb at you. In those few seconds, run over and turn the crank once or twice. Then dodge the bomb and start catching again. After several of these quick turns, the lift will eventually reach the top.
In a carburetor car when the engine is cold, slowly pump the gas pedal once or twice. Then turn the key and crank the engine for a few seconds. The engine should start up. If not wait a few seconds and recrank the engine. DO NOT repump the gas pedal before each "recrank". If by the second or third crank the vehicle has not "caught" or started, push the gas down slightly and it should start. If the car should flood, hold the gas pedal to the floor and crank the starter. DO NOT take your foot off the gas pedal after the crank. This will flood the carburetor even worse. And DO NOT crank more that 10 seconds.

Start the car, let it run for about ten seconds, then turn it off. Then as soon as the motor has stopped spinning, start it again. If the crank bearings or journals are bad, the car will have a tendency to hesitate before restarting. Careful not to damage the starter when you restart so quickly.
I have an '03 EB with this issue and was told my fuel pump is going out. It can't build enough pressure quick enough to start the truck right away. I used to have to crank the heck out of it for 30 seconds before it started, but it was suggested I just turn the key from off to on (not start) about two or three times then crank it over and it starts just fine every time. HTH
If the fuel pump doesn't get a chance to build pressure before you crank the engine, you might not be getting enough fuel when you crank the first time. To test this possibility, turn the key to "on" for a couple seconds before you try to start it, THEN see if it starts on the first crank. If that turns out to be the case, the vehicle might just be leaking down fuel pressure when it sits for a while. It's more of an annoyance than anything seriously wrong.
The fuel pump only runs for a couple seconds after the initial start attempt, then shuts off. Crank the engine for a few seconds. Then turn it off and then do it again for a few more seconds. Do this several times in order to get the fuel to the engine. After a few attempts, the engine should start.. Hope this helps...
You are losing spark or fuel.
The "EGI INJ" fuse is the right fuse to pull out. It will stop the injectors from shooting out fuel. After pulling the fuse out, crank engine for 15 seconds, rest, crank for another 15 seconds, rest crank for another 15 seconds, rest, put the fuse back and then crank. engine should basically start. if the engine is still not starting, take out the spark plugs and put oil around the seal,thread area and replace back. Do the same previous procedure mentioned The engine should finallly turn over now and start.
