Possible air lock in the heating pipes. Common after changing thermostat. look for a bleed screw on the heating pipes between the engine and interior, or loosen one of the heater pipes., after engine has warmed up. Run engine to dislodge trapped air.

The gasket suface problably was not clean enough and or did you use sealant? Sometimes the thermostat does not sit in the housing properly, since the housung is bolted to the head on its side, good chace the thermostat slid a little bit..

Sounds like the thermostat is stuck open. Replace the thermostat.

Follow the upper radiator hose down to the engine. It is attachedto the thermostat housing . Therewill be two bolts attaching the housing to the engine. Remove thesebolts, and with a little effort (prying),the housing will come off. Therewill probably be brackets, wires,or other items which will have Tobe removed in order to get to the bolts.Installation is just the reverse, and be careful you don't get the bolts tootight.
