they dont actually numb it but the mouthwash they give you helps alot However some places do offer numbing as an option if you prefer, but you would need to ask around to see if anywhere does offer this.

Yes it could be, I would suggest you see your doctor without delay, an unchecked infection in the cartilage can be life threatening.
Permanent cosmetics artists will numb your eyelids for you before they start working. It's not necessary to do it yourself.
Maybe you've been sleeping in the wrong position. Sleeping with you head on your arm, for example, can cut off the circulation through your arm, so therefor it goes numb. I'm not too familiar with the numb legs though, sorry. It may be an anxiety attack
Possibly because the surgeon cut a nerve.
The piercer won't numb your cartilage before piercing it.
Yes, you can get freezing for your lip. but then again it all depends on the piercing artist and location i suppose. I have my lip done and I did get freezing without even asking for it.
no
Some piercing shops do, the reason i know this is because i went with my cousin to get her nose pierced, she is 16, and she told them she was really afraid of pain, but she really wanted it done, so they offered to numb it... and she got it pierced no problem, but not all of them do it.
A tip is to suck on ice for an hour before the piercing, it will help to numb it.
yes.
No, alcohol prep pads that don't say numbing, do not numb when getting pierced or tattooed. You can request to be numbed before a piercing or tattoo with numbing cream, or numbing alcohol prep pads.
No, I don't think so.
none of the piercing shops that ive heard of numb you for a naval piercing i got mine when i was 13 and it doesnt hurt it feels like a pinch and then its over you just have to breathe
No. They must have hit a nerve when they pierced it. You should get it looked at by your doctor, just in case they also nicked a blood vessel or the piercing may be blocking circulation. Best of luck!
No.
