Fur, sequins, fringe, diamonds and feathers were abundant in fashion. The glamorous fashion reflected the booming economy also known as "the roaring twenties". Drop waisted dress were common as were cloche hats and kitten heels. Fashion changed in the 1920s to accommodate the new lifestyles of people who now went out dancing every weekend. Fashion needed to be easy to move in but still look good.
