The Terry Fox statue was created by Canadian sculptor George W. M. (Gerry) Morrow. It was commissioned to honor Terry Fox, who became an iconic figure in Canada for his courageous efforts in raising awareness and funds for cancer research during his Marathon of Hope in 1980. The statue was unveiled in 1981 and stands in Thunder Bay, Ontario, where Fox's journey was tragically cut short.
A huge statue is called a colossus.
Frederic Auguste Bartholdi designed it, and important engineering was done by Alexandre-Gustave Eiffel. The surface of the statue, called its skin, was made of beaten copper by craftsmen in France. It erected in New York, with construction on the foundation beginning in 1883, and it was dedicated on October 28,1886. There is a link below.

If your talking about the statue of Athena in the Parthenon then she was wearing a Greek chiton and had all of her battle armor on.
