2000 Chevy venture sliding door passenger side how do you change the double roller bearing on the door just under the glass seems to be a whole piece with two roller bearing hooked to a L shaped medal?

I have a problem with that double roller bearing assembly. To get to the assembly you need to take off the long peice of plastic that looks like it is apart of the rear quarter panel. its the long thin piece running front to back in front of the channel that the door slides along. to take off that piece you need a small stubby Phillips at the front of the van. the easiest way to reach it is to open the door all the way and unscrew it. The back of the piece is fastened behind the rear passanger tail light, so you need to remove the tail light. i think both the tail light and the back of the peice both use the T-30 bit. after all that is accomplished, the best way to get to the rollor assembly is to remove the door pin that attached to door to the double roller assembly. there is a locking washer that pops of the bottom, and then you pop the pin through to top of assembly. once you have the pin loose the door is very unstable so you need something to prop up the door. I closed the door as much as possible and prop the back end up with my toolbox. once that is accomplished you can slide out the whole assembly very easily. on both side of the double roller assembly is the metal strand cord. if you need to remove those. there is one piece of metal that folds up to hold it in place. if you take it out it takes some work to get it back. its is under a lot of tension. hope this helps you alot.
